Vitillo Premier: a closer look at the hydraulic hose range

Vitillo Premier combines a compact construction with features for demanding hydraulic applications. Here is what to discuss when specifying it.

Space around a hydraulic installation can be limited, but the hose still needs to meet the demands of the system. That is where looking beyond diameter alone becomes useful.

HACI has featured the Vitillo Premier range on LinkedIn as part of our hydraulic hose offering. For customers comparing options, it is a range worth discussing when flexibility, installation space and operating requirements all need attention.

What distinguishes Premier?

Vitillo describes Premier as a compact hose for demanding pressure and impulse conditions and confined installations. The Premier product uses two high-tensile steel braids; Premier One is a separate, single-braid product within the wider family.

Cover options are another part of the specification. Vitillo lists Evergreen, with abrasion and ozone resistance, and Forever, which adds a polyethylene coating for enhanced resistance to abrasion, ozone and UV exposure.

The manufacturer’s literature also highlights flexibility and a reduced bend radius compared with specified conventional hose types. Those features can be relevant when assessing a route through a restricted space, but the actual minimum bend radius must still be checked for the selected size.

Specify the product, not just the family name

“Premier” is a useful starting point for an enquiry. A complete order needs more detail: the particular hose, size, cover and end connections all matter.

Working pressure varies across the size range. Do not apply a rating quoted for one diameter to every Premier hose. Similarly, the hose’s published rating does not remove the need to check the complete assembly and its suitability for the equipment.

If you already have a Vitillo part number, include it. If you are considering Premier as an alternative to an existing hose, send the existing specification and explain why a change is being considered. Is access difficult? Is the route tight? Has the equipment requirement changed?

That context makes the discussion more useful than comparing product names alone.

Discuss Premier with HACI

For a supply enquiry, send the required bore, length, quantity, connection details and operating conditions. Include your delivery destination and required date so we can check the relevant availability.

You can also send a drawing or photograph to begin a discussion about a finished assembly. Where details remain uncertain, we can identify the information needed before progressing the order.

Contact HACI about Vitillo Premier hoses and assemblies. We will help you work through the requirement and check the appropriate supply options.
